Émerise LeBlanc-Nowlan participates in various contemporary art festivals launched by the Sud-Acadie Cultural Society. She uses recycled objects and transforms them into works of art through the use of vibrantly colored textiles.

The Léon-Léger Gallery of the historic Barachois Church presents an exhibition of works of art every summer in
July and August. Since 2015, the artist's works there
are presented.
